With that in mind, and after returning from an exciting few festive days in Copenhagen, I asked some of my favourite bloggers, influencers and designers what their Nordic inspirations are for 2020.


Nordic Inspiration – Advent Candles

While some people believe it’s never too early to start getting into the festive spirit; I’m not ready to start decking the halls in my own home just yet. But there is one lovely Danish tradition I whole heartily approve of: advent candles.

Just as you would a traditional calendar, the advent candle, or ‘kalenderly’, acts as a countdown from December 1st to the big day.


Nordic Inspiration – New lamp launches

With so many amazing interior launches in the last few weeks, as well as Maison et Objet and London Design Festival taking place; let’s just say September has been filled with new Nordic inspiration.

I’ve already covered some of my favourite autumn-winter collections and there are more to come, but for this round up I wanted to focus on one item in particular; the lamp.

After what seemed like a relentless week of Christmas preparations and celebrations, my family and I finally got the rest and relaxation we very much needed by heading to Copenhagen for a few fun filled days.
