What better way to celebrate the start of spring than with a colourful new collection from Royal Copenhagen. Created for people to mix, match and tell their own stories with, Iris is guaranteed to bring a fresher, freer, everyday feel to your table.
Giving the quality and craftsmanship this historic Danish porcelain maker is renowned for a more modern and vibrant expression, this latest launch takes its inspiration from the moments in life you don’t always plan for but will never forget.

Designed in Copenhagen under the leadership of Creative Director, Jasper Toron Nielsen, whether it’s a birthday celebration, a holiday feast, or a simple coffee break; Iris invites you to play with your tablescape and make it your own.
Featuring dining plates, deep plates, bowls, cups and super cute serving dishes in the shapes of seashells and flowers in full bloom, rather than being decorated with florals, bold brushstrokes and endless shades of cobalt, this collection is covered in soft graduating tones of blue, coral and green.
A testament to artistry and individuality, every piece is individually airbrushed by hand; a complicated technique used at Royal Copenhagen for decades, and one that requires precision and attention to detail from their ever inspirational painters.

Refined yet functional, timeless yet distinctive, Iris has also been designed to pair perfectly with other Royal Copenhagen classics so there’s no need to start over, if like me your slowly building your own collection.
Proving once again how this iconic brand is ripping up the rule book of what entertaining today should look and feel like, I’d love to add a piece or two to my Easter table.
“For me, it’s about creating porcelain that fits into life as it really is – personal, expressive, and full of small moments that matter,” says Jasper Toron Nielsen, Creative Director, Royal Copenhagen.
