While the French capital has long been a place where art, architecture and fashion meet it’s now become a must-visit destination for Nordic design lovers too, with the opening of GUBI House Paris.
Residing in the historic 8th arrondissement, alongside some of the city’s most prestigious addresses and cultural landmarks, what I personally adore most is how this Danish brand constantly reinterprets their collection depending on the location.
Conceived not as another soulless showroom, but as a real apartment interior, GUBI House Paris spans two light-filled floors. The high ceilings, majestic fireplaces and original plaster mouldings all providing a picture-perfect backdrop to their distinctive designs.

Like their sprawling harbour-side warehouse in Copenhagen, as well as their historic Georgian townhouse in London, visitors to Paris are once taken on an immersive journey through a sequence of connected rooms.
From dining and gathering to working and relaxing, the inspirational experience begins as soon as you step over the threshold. A carefully curated combination of colour, comfort and craftsmanship, whether its Pierre Paulin’s iconic F300, their latest Tito Angoli’s P3 Lounge Chair, or a huge velvet Elogio Sofa, each and every piece offers delight and discovery up close.
Less about display, but how products can be lived with, what truly sets this third showroom apart is it’s first floor. Here you’ll find not only an intimate Salon with places to read, chat and relax, but also a magical Winter Garden and an elegant boutique hotel styled bedroom too.

More than just a sum of its striking furniture and lighting, GUBI have also cleverly incorporated throughout the property collaborations with several Nordic partners. Including paint finishes and lava-stone tiles from File Under Pop, a selection of beautiful curtains and handwoven rugs from Nordic Knots, and a striking REFLECT kitchen by Reform, all of which sit happily alongside a selection of contemporary paintings, prints and glass from Galerie Allen to ensure that Parisian, home-from-home feeling remains.
GUBI House Paris is open by appointment only, ensuring a fully curated and personalized experience. To find out more, visit the GUBI website.
