With a history dating back over a hundred and sixty years, Morsø are recognised for their creative designs and materials that stand the test of time. As someone who is passionate about both of these things, you can see why they appeal so much to me.

Founded by Niels Andreas Christensen in 1863, on the island of Mors, in the far north of Denmark, among the first things produced in the Morsø foundry were pots and pans. It was only later, around the turn of the century in fact, that they began to produce wood-burners and stoves.

Today Morsø has developed into a global design company also offering a beautiful collection of high quality and expertly crafted products for your kitchen, dining room and living space.

Collaborating with renowned Danish designers such as Klaus Rath, Maria Berntsen, Troels Seidenfaden and Jacob Wagner, Morsø knows how to transfer its deep-rooted traditions and values into comforting products perfectly suited to how we live today.

Everyday hygge moments

Inspired by patterns found in nature, Morsø’s latest pieces, the ‘Ripple’, ‘Flame’ and ‘Bark’ vases have mesmerising surfaces which catch the warm light from the ‘Roots’ candlestick perfectly.

The simple yet striking matt black porcelain and oak detailing of their serving trays and kitchen tools are a Danish design masterclass in how form follows function.
