After spending New Year in Copenhagen; what better way to cheer up my first week back than with an exciting launch from one of the most respected and much-loved names in Nordic design, Vipp.
Almost two years in the making, Vipp’s new V3 kitchen pays homage to both their 85-year tradition of working in metal, while also providing a fresh take on their original and hugely popular black powder-coated steel V1 design.
Available in three free-standing elements; an island, wall, and tall modules, each can be mixed and matched to suit your room and requirements. Wrapped in naturally anodized aluminium, a material used by Vipp both in their products as well as their guesthouses, the vertically extruded profiles curve elegantly around the edges, bringing a lightness of touch to its metallic appearance.
Meanwhile, gracefully floating on top is a sleek 4mm-thick stainless-steel countertop, designed by the Vipp engineers to not only look good but to discreetly disguise the integrated handles, once again effortlessly blending everyday functionality with the carefully crafted details we’ve become accustomed to expect from this exceptional brand.
“I think we have managed to create a unique kitchen that feels like a sculptural piece on its own,” Vipp CEO Kasper Egelund.
If a kitchen makeover is currently at the top of your 2024 wish list, then this timeless yet bang on trend addition is guaranteed to inspire.
