For me there is nothing more exciting than going on holiday. I love leaving the stresses of daily life behind and heading off to explore new places. There is however one part of preparing to travel that sends me into total panic every time: packing.
I’m totally hopeless at it. My normally well organised self unnecessarily over-thinks every possible scenario and before I know it, far too many clothes and accessories are bursting out of my suitcase.
So when it came to my recent holiday I thankfully had a little help on the essentials from one of my favourite brands, Meraki.
A simpler slower lifestyle
Designed and developed in Denmark, Meraki’s skin, body and hair care products focus on a simpler slower lifestyle.
Whether its their scented candles, soaps or must-have textiles, all Meraki products are made from carefully selected natural ingredients that gently nourish mind, body and soul.
So you can imagine how thrilled we where when they asked my family and I to test a number of their Spring/Summer launches during our trip.
Meraki Travel Kit
The Meraki Travel Kit is perfect for panic packers like me. In the super cute cotton bag you’ll find everything you need for your daily routine; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion.
I personally liked the subtle fragrance and the richness of the moisturiser, plus they may only be small but the 50ml bottles lasted me the whole week. I truly felt like I’d been pampered everyday and since returning home a number of full-size items can now be found in my bathroom.
Thankfully we had two lovely products from the new Meraki Sun series to take care of our skin in the very hot Danish summer weather.
Both the face cream, containing SPF 30, and the sun stick, a SPF 50 balm, fitted perfectly in my bag and are fragrance free, fast absorbing and very water-resistant. They are also suitable for both children and adults which for any travelling parent is a total win.
The new Meraki Mini skincare range created especially for little ones means spa time isn’t just for Mum and Dad.
Mild and perfume-free the shampoo and bath products my little boy tried were ideal for his sensitive and eczema prone skin. Both are rich in extra moisturising ingredients and suitable for daily use. You simply pumped a little onto your hands, wash cloth or direct into the water and they made lots of foam. Which for any three year old is a top priority at bath time!
